Blocki Flute Method

The patented Pneumo Pro has helped thousands of new flutists to quickly learn how to have a beautiful tone. Band directors and flute teachers love how the Pneumo Pro facilitates the correct and consistent placement of the air column, taking the mystery out of tone production. The Pneumo Pro also helps older students quickly achieve a more resonant and focused tone with proper intonation, as well as more accurate octave and register changes. The new plastic design makes sanitizing easy, and students love the bright new colors.

The use of the Pneumo Pro Wind Director greatly simplifies the teaching of tone production. The student begins blowing into the Pneumo Pro instead of the flute, and the teacher can immediately see whether the direction of the air column will produce a sound on the head joint.

The Pneumo Pro is designed to simulate the flute head joint, but with the embouchure hole open so that the air can pass through the hole and spin the wheels below. As students learn to isolate certain wheels they learn to replicate the air direction and focus needed to produce a clear and resonant tone on the flute.
