Lyme Regis

Graham and JohnA couple of days in Lyme Reigs with the best of friends. Was great to see Graham and Debbie after 16 years. We searched for fossils on Monmouth Beach and marvelled at the Jurassic Beach.

Chaddesley Corbett

Chaddesly Corbett

Today, after a stressful and upsetting week, we went for a bacon and mushroom sandwich at the Post Office Tea Rooms in Chaddesley Corbett, Worcs. then a walk in Chaddesley Wood. The photo was taken returning to the village.

Edgar Broughton Band

A publicity photo for German tour October - November 1987, taken somewhere in Barnet, photographer unknown.

left to right: John Wesley-Barker, keyboards & (awful) sax; Edgar (Rob) Broughton, vocals & guitar; Andy 'Lewis' Taylor, guitar; Arthur Grant, bass; Steve Broughton, drums.

I've found some more photos from this tour and put them here .... oh boy! Includes photos of the band plus Nigel and road manager who's name I've forgotten. If you want to know more about the band, do this Google search. Steve Beresford had his dream come true - see numerous letters to NME.

Just Got Back from Alnwick

Returned from Alnwick today. Drove up on Wednesday evening, met my Dad, John and Angela in Alnmouth then we went on to a meal at The Oaks in Alnwick.

On Thursday we visited Aunty Alice at Hillcrest. The photo is of Alice, John & Angela sitting in the garden on a lovely sunny day. On Friday we went for a drive over Alnwick Moor, stopping for a sprig of heather, then an ice-cream at Long Framlington and on through Swarland where Alice lived as a child. Then a meal with Joan at The Tower restaurant.

We had a lovely few days together. Thank you to Joan for hearty breakfasts and comfortable accomodation. Thank you to John & Angela for a wonderful time and Alice for some crystal clear memories.

... places I've lived
Some photos of homes I've lived in, presently in my 60th address. It was while my dad was visiting me in Leith that we counted all the addresses and we made a rule that we could only count houses I've lived in for longer than 6 weeks.

Poster 'Scammell' by Keith Rowe

April 1st 'Concert Of Music' at the Drill Hall, London

Cornelius Cardew, piano - electric piano; Marcio Mattos, double bass; Eddie Prevost, drums; Keith Rowe, electric guitar; John Wesley Barker, soprano saxophone - flute.

We went to The Egg on Tottenham Court Road / Goodge Street corner afterwards, can't remember the year, but it was a packed audience for a 'free improvisation' concert.
